Falguni Shane Peacock's new couture campaign has a face that feels intentional, much like the brand's design philosophy. The label has chosen Bhoomika Yadav, a young Indian model who has been building a significant presence on the international circuit, to front their latest campaign — and the decision makes complete sense when you look at the direction both the brand and Yadav are headed.
Yadav is among the youngest Indian models to have walked for Chanel's haute couture. For a label that has spent years taking Indian craftsmanship into international spaces — through global showcases and red carpet moments — featuring a model at this point in her trajectory feels especially deliberate.
Speaking on the campaign, Falguni Shane Peacock shared: "For us, this campaign was about where Falguni Shane Peacock stands today. We have consistently showcased our couture on international platforms, and we wanted this to reflect a younger, more modern perspective while continuing to push boundaries. Bhoomika fit naturally into that vision."
That younger, more modern perspective is the thread running through the campaign, bringing a sharper edge to the house's couture narrative and the woman it dresses.
What the campaign does is reflect something that is genuinely shifting in Indian fashion right now. There is a generation of Indian faces, designers, and creatives who are not positioning themselves as alternatives to the western mainstream, but are simply operating within the global conversation on their own terms. Falguni Shane Peacock have been part of building that ground for some time, and this campaign feels like a continuation of that, with a slightly sharper edge.
