Bayar Jain

Bayar Jain studied Sociology at Delhi University, which taught her that everything is a story if you look at it long enough. She went on to Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai, to learn how to actually tell those stories — and has spent her career in travel and lifestyle media doing exactly that. Culture, design, luxury, people, places: if it's worth experiencing, she's probably written about it. Off the clock, she is a photographer, a compulsive trip-planner, a gallery lingerer, and someone who has never once regretted stopping to pet a four-legged stranger. She is, by nature, an introvert — though she will stop mid-sentence, without warning or apology, if there's a dog or cat nearby.
