High in the hills of Panchalimedu, Kerala, at an elevation of 2,500 feet, Prakriti Shakti occupies a stretch of landscape where cool air and rolling greenery shape the rhythm of daily life. This is CGH Earth’s premier nature cure centre, built around the idea that preventive health begins with understanding the root causes of illness—and that nature’s elements can play an active role in that process.

Here, wellness programmes are crafted around naturopathy, a drugless and non-invasive system of medicine that draws from both indigenous practice and contemporary understanding. Air, water, earth, fire, and space form the backbone of the therapeutic framework. Treatments such as hydrotherapy and mud therapy bring these elements into direct contact with the body, while yoga, meditation, personalised plant-based diets, and energy medicine techniques round out a regimen designed to help restore internal balance.

The centre also offers detox programmes. Image courtesy: Prakriti Shakti

Prakriti Shakti’s curative programmes address a wide range of lifestyle and chronic conditions. Individuals visit for support with hypertension, diabetes, insomnia, anxiety, asthma, sinusitis, arthritis, spondylitis, PCOS, endometriosis, migraines, depression, Parkinson’s, gastrointestinal disorders, sleep disturbances, stroke rehabilitation, and post-surgical cardiovascular recovery. Every stay begins with a detailed consultation to tailor therapies to the person’s needs. Programmes require a minimum seven-day commitment, and participation is open to those aged 15 and above.

The centre also offers detox programmes—structured breaks designed to cleanse, recalibrate, and re-establish healthy patterns. These incorporate cleansing therapies, movement practices, and plant-based nutrition, aimed at improving energy levels and mental clarity.

Accommodation is spread across private cottages positioned to offer solitude and direct exposure to the natural environment. A high doctor-to-patient ratio ensures close monitoring throughout the stay, while Panchalimedu’s climate—marked by misty mornings, cool breezes, and dense greenery—forms an integral part of the overall experience.
