Who doesn't imagine their pets wearing some of the most dapper fits? If you have been paying attention, the pet fashion industry has moved way past novelty. In 2025, the global luxury pet accessories market crossed $27 billion. And the maisons responsible for some of the world's most coveted products for humans have been strategically building their canine catalogues for the better part of a decade.
What used to be a niche corner of the gifts market has evolved into a full category treated with the same design rigour as the houses' core collections. The Prada Crystal-Studded Satin Collar alone has been worn as a choker by its human buyers as often as it has been worn by their dogs. That tells you everything about where the category is right now. The question is no longer whether to dress your pet. It is how much sparkle they can carry. Below are five pieces from five different maisons worth knowing about.
The most blingiest piece in any luxury pet collection, the Crystal-studded Satin Pet Collar is made from satin and embellished entirely with sparkling synthetic crystals, finished with a side-release buckle and an enamelled metal Prada triangle logo. It is available in platinum and crystal black. Available under the brand's Gifting Collection, the collar has become as well known among owners who wear it as a choker as it has among pet owners, which is arguably the most Prada thing about it. The product ships in Prada's signature packaging.
The Medium Check Dog Collar is made in Italy in Burberry's signature Archive beige and briar brown Vintage Check, lined entirely in smooth leather, with hand-painted edges, polished brass hardware, and an engraved Burberry lettering tag. Measurements are 43cm in length and 2cm in width. The outer material incorporates at least 30 percent bio-based materials derived from renewable natural resources. Free personalisation is offered with up to three monogrammed characters. Burberry also produces a Gabardine Dog Coat crafted in Castleford, Yorkshire, from shower-resistant cotton gabardine with a Burberry Check lining, an adjustable belt, and elasticated leg straps, built on the same design codes as the house's iconic trench.
The Tresse collar is handcrafted in braided Epsom calfskin, with the braiding technique drawn directly from Hermès's equestrian heritage and specifically from the browband braiding used on horses. The buckle is a hand-polished metal, fitted with a leather flap and a D-ring for the leash. Every collar includes a metal medal engraved with "Hermès Sellier Paris" on the loop, sized at 2cm in diameter for XS/S and 2.5cm for M/L, available for personalised engraving. It arrives in an orange Hermès box tied with a Bolduc ribbon, identical to the packaging applied to the maison's leather goods. This collar is available in four sizes from XS to L, in 100 percent Epsom calfskin.
The only Indian label on this list is also the most bespoke. B Anu Designs is a California-based Indian bridal wear house — known for its luxury lehengas, sherwanis, and handcrafted jewellery — that has extended its offering to include custom pet apparel designed to match the bride or groom's outfit exactly. The process is fully bespoke: the customer sends a photograph of their bridalwear alongside their pet's measurements, and B Anu Designs produces a coordinating lehenga or sherwani in the same fabric, colour, and embroidery. The Fezco Pets Lehenga, the Cassini Pets Sherwani, and the Mirabel Dog Sherwani are the three catalogue entry points, each at USD 250. Full custom pieces — matched precisely to a bridal outfit — are priced on enquiry. The brand ships internationally and is increasingly being used by NRI families, including their pets, as formal members of the bridal party. No Indian label currently is doing at this price point what B Anu Designs does at the intersection of Indian bridal craft and bespoke pet fashion.
Moncler's ongoing collaboration with Italian luxury pet brand Poldo Dog Couture applies the house's signature padded vest construction directly to dogs. The current season offers the Padded Dog Vest in black and bright pink, built from the same quilted down-insulated nylon used in Moncler's human outerwear, with Moncler branding across the chest and a tailored fit across multiple dog sizes. The Tricolor-Trimmed version adds Moncler's signature red, white, and blue trim detail running along the edges, a design code lifted directly from the brand's alpine heritage. A Wool Dog Sweater is available alongside for warmer indoor occasions.
