Acting remains Hyun Bin’s main source of income, with reports suggesting he earns around USD 83,900 (approximately Rs 70 lakh) per episode. His portfolio, however, extends far beyond the screen. Global brand endorsements and strategic property investments have made him one of the most financially successful actors in South Korea.
In 2021, he became the first Korean ambassador for Italian fashion house Loro Piana, working on a capsule collection that reflected the brand’s craftsmanship and style. Later in 2020, he joined Omega as its first Korean ambassador and continues to represent the Swiss watchmaker at major international events, including the Omega European Masters 2023.
In the same year, Tom Ford Beauty appointed him as its first Asia-Pacific ambassador, recognising his influence in the world of luxury grooming. In 2023, he became a brand ambassador for Osim, a wellness brand focused on innovation and comfort. In 2020, Hyun Bin reportedly purchased a penthouse worth USD 4.3 million (around Rs 36 crore) in Achiul Village, an eco-friendly residential enclave near Seoul. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home became the couple’s first residence after marriage and was designed with an emphasis on privacy and light. The property was listed for sale in 2024 at a profit.
Prior to that, he lived in a mansion in Mark Hills, Dongjak District, which he reportedly bought for USD 2.25 million (about Rs 19 crore) early in his career, and later sold at a higher price. His most valuable property is a building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, purchased for about USD 4 million (around Rs 33 crore) and now valued at approximately USD 8.9 million (around Rs 74 crore). The structure houses both commercial and residential spaces, and received recognition at the 35th Seoul Architecture Awards for its design.
