On Dubai’s famed World Islands archipelago, a new luxury landmark is taking shape. The Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Residences, the brand’s first venture of this kind in the Middle East, is being developed by Buddha-Bar Real Estate Development in partnership with Yieldhaüs. With an investment of AED 3 billion (approximately ₹7,200 crore), the destination is slated to open in 2027, redefining island sophistication and lifestyle.
The property will feature a 162-key hotel and 24 three-level floating villas designed to rest elegantly above the sea. Each residence will include a rooftop jacuzzi, a sea-level lounge, and an underwater bedroom surrounded by coral gardens. The design draws inspiration from Asian minimalism and coastal luxury, creating a rare balance between intimacy and grandeur.
Inside, the spaces are designed to feel warm, fluid, and deeply personal. Buddha-Bar’s signature aesthetic comes alive through soft ambient lighting, natural woods, and elegant curves that flow effortlessly from room to room. Expansive glass walls open out to private decks, blurring the line between ocean and interior. Each floating villa is built with marine-grade craftsmanship, balancing luxury with longevity. Every detail feels intentional, a quiet nod to Dubai’s evolution into a world capital of design and sophistication.

The Buddha-Bar Beach
Anchoring the experience is Buddha-Bar Beach, a social haven that transforms effortlessly throughout the day. Guests can start their mornings with wellness rituals and ocean-front yoga before moving into afternoons of relaxation and nights of world-class DJ performances. The culinary experience will celebrate Buddha-Bar’s iconic global dining legacy, offering fine Asian-Mediterranean fusion with a Dubai twist.
More than a hotel, the Buddha-Bar development symbolises Dubai’s growing role as a global stage for innovation in hospitality. By uniting music, architecture, art, and nature, it will introduce a new dimension of high-end travel, one that appeals as much to the senses as to the soul.
When it opens in 2027, the Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Residences will not only mark the brand’s grand Middle Eastern debut but also stand as a defining emblem of modern escapism, where every sunrise invites calm and every sunset turns into a curated performance.
