Born and raised in Delhi, Ieshaan Sehgaal moved to Mumbai to pursue acting, and built his profile through television and reality TV, including a widely watched run on Bigg Boss 15. That period gave him public recognition. It also gave him a working knowledge of how influence is created, how perception is shaped and how quickly relevance can fade without constant evolution.
He has since expanded beyond entertainment and into the UAE's business landscape, relocating to Dubai to study real estate and build a second career alongside his acting work. He carried over an understanding of audiences, positioning and personal branding, and applied those instincts to an industry where relationships and execution carry more weight than recognition on their own.
That move led Sehgaal to BNW Developments, the Ras Al Khaimah-born, Dubai-headquartered developer, where he holds a director-level role focussed on global partnerships. He works closely, by his own account, with chairman and founder Dr. (CA) Ankur Aggarwal.
Sehgaal has been closely associated with FashionTV Acacia, BNW's collaboration with FashionTV on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, and with the developer's subsequent partnership with Michel Adam, founder of FashionTV, on Orvessa Residences in Dubai's Al Furjan, BNW's first project in the emirate.
Both deals point to a specific skill: identifying alignment between powerful names, positioning ideas at an international level and converting access into signed partnerships. In a business culture built on introductions and conversation, Sehgaal's focus has stayed on execution.
His trajectory also tracks a wider shift in how entrepreneurs build careers today, moving across business, media, culture and personal brand rather than staying confined to one. Entertainment gave Sehgaal reach. Business gave that reach direction.
Sehgaal has credited the encouragement of his mother and the continued guidance of Ankur Aggarwal, whom he describes as both mentor and brother, as central to that shift. He is now building an identity that sits outside entertainment, outside geography and outside any single business category, with an ambition to operate at the intersection of influence, enterprise and opportunity rather than inside one established industry.
