The wellness trend has moved way past the spa weekend. Now, what serious travellers are looking for is something that is more structured and ideally rooted in real expertise. Aman, who has long understood that the most valuable luxury is time used well, seems to understand this better than most. The brand’s partnership with the tennis legend Novak Djokovic, which began in 2024, when he became Aman’s first Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor, has produced one of the more compelling wellness programmes available anywhere right now.
Their latest offering is the Mobility and Recovery Programme. As the second phase of Aman’s Longevity Pathway Series, the programme is available year-round across five Aman sanctuaries. These include Amanpuri and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok in Thailand, Amanoi in Vietnam, Amanzoe in Greece, and Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Spread across three nights, the itinerary is built around a considered progression. Day one starts with a personalised orientation followed by an in-depth consultation. This helps give practitioners the information they require to tailor the experience to the individual. Later, a movement session such as Pilates or conditioning follows, along with hydrotherapy and therapeutic spa treatments including massage, acupuncture, or reflexology, all focused on muscular release and lymphatic detoxification.
The second day focuses on breathwork and gentle movement to start with, building towards on-court tennis training with a professional coach. Manual stretching sessions address flexibility and ease muscular tension. While thermal experiences, including Aman’s signature Banyan ritual, stimulate circulation and support the immune system.
The final day is about integration. Sessions, including Pranayama and sound-healing sessions, restore energetic flow and encourage deep relaxation. Signature Aman spa treatments round out the journey.
The programme draws directly from Djokovic’s own methods, rituals, and techniques that have shaped a career at the very top of professional sport. For those who don’t know, this is not Aman’s first move in this direction. The Mobility and Recovery Programme follows the Detoxification Programme, which is also currently available across a selection of Aman properties.
For Indian travellers who already count Aman among their preferred addresses, this is exactly the kind of programme worth planning a trip around.
