Badrutt's Palace Hotel, St Moritz

Badrutt's Palace holds Europe's highest-altitude padel court, positioned to capture panoramic views over Lake St Moritz, making every rally feel cinematic against the surrounding Alps. Named the 4Padel Gustave, this court sits on the Quai du Port de Suffren on the banks of the Seine, facing the Eiffel Tower directly, opposite the barge Vedettes de Paris. First installed in 2024 for the finals of the Betclic Remontada Padel tournament, it returned in 2025 and again for a nearly four-month run from May 25 to September 14, 2026, this time open to the general public for €30 per person per hour and a half rather than restricted to tournament finalists. The court has hosted the Remontada Padel grand finals each year since, alongside exhibition matches featuring professional players, content creators, and sports personalities, part of a broader push to bring padel, and public leisure more generally, onto the banks of the Seine.

Prato Nevoso, Italy

At 2,000 metres above sea level on the ski slopes of Prato Nevoso in the Italian Alps, the Winter HEAD Padel tournament has run as the world's first padel competition held entirely on snow, launched in the 2023-24 season and now in its third year. Played beside the resort's Chalet Il Rosso, the tournament pairs sport with charity, supporting Turin's Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro, and has drawn a mix of former professional footballers and celebrities to compete on a full-sized court built directly into the snowpack, surrounded by the Alps on every side.
