The Oberoi Amarvilas sits roughly 600 metres from the Taj Mahal, close enough that the monument is visible from every room and suite. The Taj Mahal Palace — Mumbai, India

Opened in 1903 by industrialist Jamsetji Tata, this Colaba landmark stands directly opposite the Gateway of India, with sea-facing rooms looking out across the arch and the Arabian Sea beyond it.
