As guests arrive at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, the lobby comes alive with the mesmerising Jal Sanjhi artwork a rare, centuries-old traditional art form where intricate paintings are created directly on the surface of water using coloured powders and fine stencils. As part of the experience, guests get to witness and engage with this delicate art form, discovering a new tradition while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of India.
Today, Sunday, 23 August 2026, we are here in Udaipur as guests arrive at Fairmont Udaipur Palace for Chapter One: The Circle of Influence. The day begins with a warm welcome, setting the tone for two days of curated experiences, conversations and celebrations. As the day unfolds, our focus shifts to the brand-new BMW X7, set to elevate the experience with its signature blend of luxury, comfort and performance.
Robb Report India returns to Udaipur for Chapter One: The Circle of Influence, marking its first anniversary with a two-day, invite-only celebration on 23 and 24 August 2026. Set against the Aravalli hills, Fairmont Udaipur Palace provides the backdrop for an immersive gathering built around access to exceptional spaces, experiences and people not ordinarily in the public eye. The celebration also marks the launch of the RR Circle Members 2026–2027, bringing together a curated circle of tastemakers, entrepreneurs and creative leaders from across business, fashion, art, sports, Bollywood and royalty.
It has now been one year since Robb Report India launched in September 2025 as part of RPSG Lifestyle Media. In its first year, the title has built a distinctive presence across both editorial and social formats, launching a growing portfolio of IPs including The Robb Report Table, Culinary Masters, At Home with Royalty, RR Experience, Icons on the Wrist, Grand Tour and Masters of Luxury, among others. Across its coverage of automobiles, travel, fine dining, real estate, rare collectibles, art, design, culture and craftsmanship, Robb Report India has focused on luxury beyond excess, with an emphasis on intentional storytelling and an India-first perspective on the evolving meaning of luxury. At the heart of its coverage are stories centred on heritage, creativity, people, experiences and access, reflecting a more considered understanding of what luxury means today.
At the helm of Robb Report India’s journey are Avarna Jain, Chairperson, RPSG Lifestyle Media; Debashish Ghosh, CEO; and Aindrila Mitra, Editor, Robb Report India. Together, they have steered the title through a remarkable first year, taking it beyond the traditional boundaries of luxury publishing and building a platform shaped by considered storytelling, meaningful access and immersive experiences. From its pages and digital platforms to its growing roster of events and IPs, Robb Report India has continually pushed itself to explore new ways of defining and experiencing luxury in India.
Before we dive into what Robb Report India has in store for Chapter One: The Circle of Influence, it is worth looking back at the experiences that have shaped its first year. From palace evenings and intimate dinners to conversations around craftsmanship and design, each gathering has been built around the same idea: that luxury is as much about access, people and stories as it is about place.
The journey began in Udaipur with The Royal Soirée, Robb Report India’s inaugural #RRExperience, held at The Leela Palace, Udaipur. Set against the shimmering waters of Lake Pichola, the evening brought together some of India’s most discerning minds and tastemakers for a celebration of culture, conversation and lakeside splendour. The experience reflected the Robb Report ethos of craftsmanship, culture and refinement, with an intimate gathering that included actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, HH Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, custodian of the House of Mewar, Princess Krishna Kumari of Panna and Maharani Priyadarshini Raje Scindia. It set the tone for a series of experiences where extraordinary settings became the starting point for meaningful connections.
The focus then shifted from palaces to craftsmanship with an intimate conversation at the Belgium Embassy around the world of Scabal. In conversation with Gregor Thissen, Executive Chairman of Scabal, the gathering explored material integrity, artistic dialogue and the discipline of remaining true to one’s values. It was a closer look at the thinking and craft behind one of the world’s renowned names in luxury textiles, and at the ideas that allow craftsmanship to endure.
The first Robb Report Table brought the brand’s approach to fine dining and conversation to Raffles Jaipur. Held on 1 February, the invitation-only evening brought together a carefully selected group of tastemakers around food, conversation and the cultural character of the region. Conceived as an intimate culinary format, the Robb Report Table is rooted in the idea that dining can be an art of living—one that brings together people, place and experience. The evening included names from hospitality, design, fashion and interiors, including Ratan Kant Sharma, Jui Sharma, Shantanu Garg, Paritosh Mehta, Divyanshi Shekhawat, Ayush and Geetanjali Kasliwal, Shan Bhatnagar and Tahir Sultan, among others.
The second edition of The Robb Report Table moved to Central Park Resorts, Gurgaon, where food, music and conversation came together to celebrate the launch of the luxe residences Belanova and Robb Report India’s Ultimate Home series. The evening brought together voices from across industries, including Avijit Kumar Singh, Country Manager for the Indian Subcontinent at Jaeger-LeCoultre; Vidur Mayor, founder of Earth’s Sake; Shiv Agarwal, Managing Director at ABC Consultants; and Kapil Chopra, founder of Diviana Interior. More than a dinner, the gathering offered a space for ideas and conversations around the way we live, design and experience luxury.
The second chapter of the #RRExperience travelled to Gwalior, where history became the setting for Palace Privé at Jai Vilas Palace. On 8 and 9 April, Maharani Priyadarshini Raje Scindia and Yuvraj Mahanaaryaman Scindia welcomed a select group of guests into their ancestral home for an immersive celebration of heritage and royal hospitality. The experience offered an intimate lens into the legacy of Madhya Pradesh and the stories that continue to shape India's cultural landscape.
Together, these experiences have traced a journey from Udaipur to Gwalior, from the dining table to the palace, and from craftsmanship to culture, building a community around shared curiosity, access and a more considered understanding of luxury.
Over its first year, Robb Report India has built a distinctive cover portfolio across both print and digital, with each issue reflecting a different facet of the country’s evolving luxury landscape. The journey began with the September–October 2025 inaugural issue, which featured two print covers centred on Jaipur and Gwalior royalty: Sawai Padmanabh Singh and Princess Gauravi Kumari of Jaipur, and the Scindia family of Gwalior. The November–December 2025 Travel Issue turned its lens towards extraordinary destinations, with Wadi of Wonders: Desert Rock Mirrors Saudi’s Vision for Regenerative Tourism. January–February 2026 celebrated The Best of the Best, followed by the March–April Style Edit, fronted by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The July–August 2026 India Issue featured Kiran Nadar, alongside a celebration of The Leela Coorg.
Across its digital covers, the title has featured personalities including Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash, Twinkle Khanna, Dia Mirza, and Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy, exploring themes spanning art, culture, music, cinema, travel, design, heritage and personal reinvention. Together, these covers reflect the breadth of Robb Report India’s editorial universe and its evolving understanding of luxury as something rooted not just in rarity and access, but in people, places, culture and stories.
