Abode Boutique Hotels’ new property in Jaipur brings the focus inward. Located in the heart of the pink city’s UNESCO-listed Walled City, the stay reimagines a 300-year-old structure giving guests an insider’s take on the everyday life of the working neighbourhood.

Owned by Ashish Golcha and Nikhil Jain of the Saksham Group and managed by Abode Boutique Hotels, co-founded by Abedin Sham and Lizzie Chapman, the boutique sits within Kishanpole’s historic fabric. Placing guests within walking distance of iconic monuments like Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Ajmeri Gate, the brand positions the property as a stay that connects travellers to the rhythm of old Jaipur. 

Inside Abode Jaipur

Featuring 21 rooms, the property’s structure has been retained while maintaining the original arches, chajjas, and red-lime facade walls. The interiors are done from a modern lens using a composition of local stone, muted tones and clean geometry. The decor and furniture is sourced locally from artisans near Ajmeri Gate to support their livelihoods and preserve traditional crafts. These include block printers from Bagru, blue-pottery makers, and mirror-inlay specialists.

Inside, rooms are spread across five categories: Suite, Superior Luxury, Luxury, Simple, and Simple | Accessible. The rooms are tastefully done with lovely little details - linen done in colourful prints that instantly brightens up your mood, reminding you you’re in Jaipur, and wooden windows that offer you a glimpse of the bustling street as you relax in the soft sunlight that they let in. The bathrooms are equally inviting, making you feel comfortable, at home, and quietly pampered.

Outside, the public spaces double as occasional micro-galleries and pop-up venues for artists, writers and performers. 

The food offerings at Abode are thoughtful - healthy, seasonal and delicious, satisfying both the mindful eater and the true gourmand in you. Everything is served in handpainted tableware, another reminder that you are in the pink city and art is celebrated in every detail here.
