5 New Luxury Watches Unveiled in October 2026

Patek Philippe Ref. 5978P-010

Unveiled for the Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan, the Patek Philippe Ref. 5978P-010 combines a manually wound chronograph with an instantaneous perpetual calendar for the first time in the maison’s history. Its 42mm platinum case frames a navy-blue dial with red chronograph hands, while the new CH 29-535 PS QI movement brings together approximately 500 components. This watch is limited to 120 pieces. It is a watch meant for those interested in complicated watchmaking.

Patek Philippe Ref. 5978P-010 is priced at US$337,585.

Ulysse Nardin Freak [S Howlite]

Ulysse Nardin marks 25 years of the Freak with a limited edition watch that turns the dial into a work of art. The Freak [S Howlite] uses Canadian howlite, a white stone marked by grey veining, for its hour disc, meaning every example has its own pattern. Beneath the unconventional display sits the Freak S movement with its dual-oscillator architecture. Limited to just 15 pieces for North America.

Ulysse Nardin Freak [S Howlite] is priced at US$190,700, excluding tax.

Hublot Classic Fusion Tributo

Hublot looks back to 1980 with the Classic Fusion Tributo, a tribute to founder Carlo Crocco’s original gold watch on a black rubber strap. Available in 18-karat yellow or white gold, the 38mm model retains the porthole-inspired bezel, exposed screws and pared-back dial that defined the original design. It has a modern self-winding Hublot movement with approximately 50 hours of power reserve. This heritage-led release revisits the brand's beginnings, but does not simply reproduce its first watch.

Hublot Classic Fusion Tributo is priced at US$30,900.

URWERK UR-300 Time Quantum

For those who prefer their watches to look like they belong to the future, with unconventional mechanics and sculptural form, the URWERK UR-300 Time Quantum reimagines the brand’s wandering-hour display. Notably, the display jumps forward and rotates at the top of each hour. The watch is offered in two titanium versions, each limited to 25 pieces.

URWERK UR-300 Time Quantum is priced at CHF 168,000 before taxes.

IWC Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Year of the Goat

IWC's Year of the Goat edition brings a festive twist to its pilot’s chronograph. The 41mm watch combines a titanium case with a black ceramic bezel and a gold-coloured dial, creating a distinctive contrast against its technical aviation-inspired design. Limited to 500 pieces, it joins IWC’s series of Chinese zodiac editions.

IWC Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Year of the Goat is priced at US$13,100.

A complicated perpetual calendar, a dial carved from natural stone and a timepiece that reimagines how the hours are displayed makes these watches worth a closer look.
