Among Taehyung’s most significant investments is a luxury penthouse in Cheongdam-dong, one of Seoul’s most exclusive residential neighbourhoods. Purchased for approximately ₩14.2 billion (around Rs 90 crore), the residence is part of a high-end complex known for privacy, security, and expansive city views. Reports indicate the purchase was completed without financing. Designed for discreet urban living, the property features generous interiors, premium materials, and amenities intended for long-term comfort rather than spectacle.
Kim Taehyung owns a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, one of the most recognisable luxury SUVs in the world. Powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 577 horsepower, the G63 pairs serious off-road capability with high-performance engineering. Inside, the cabin features premium leather upholstery, dual widescreen digital displays, and advanced driver-assistance systems. In South Korea, the G63 is priced at approximately ₩220 million (around Rs 1.35 crore).
Among his timepieces, the Cartier Santos-Dumont stands out for its historical significance and restrained design. Valued at approximately $13,500 (around Rs 11 lakh), the watch, originally designed for aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont, features a slim rectangular case, exposed screws, and a leather strap, powered by a high-precision quartz movement.
Alongside higher-performance vehicles, Taehyung also owns a Genesis GV80, the flagship SUV from Hyundai’s luxury marque. Priced at approximately ₩90 million (around Rs 60 lakh) depending on specification, the GV80 offers a more understated expression of luxury, with an emphasis on ride comfort, advanced safety systems, and a meticulously finished interior.
One of the most recognisable fashion pieces associated with Taehyung is the Celine Homme Leather Teddy Jacket, worn during several public appearances following his appointment as a global ambassador for the house. Crafted in smooth lambskin with ribbed trims and a classic varsity silhouette, the jacket reflects Celine’s sharp, modern tailoring codes. The piece is reported to retail at approximately €6,000 (around Rs 5.4 lakh).
