Meet Miheeka Daggubati, member of RR Circle 2026–2027

Luxury used to be measured in terms of what a space announced. Increasingly, it’s measured in M what it withholds,” shares Miheeka Daggubati, founder of boutique interior design and architectural firm Boheim Studio. Over the course of her career as founder of Mudita Tribe Foundation, a mental health non profit, and Art Connect, an experiential pop-up that fosters dialogue between art and design, Daggubati believes that learning to ask better questions and building reliable processes around those answers is what has helped her most. “Over time, I realised that beautiful spaces alone aren’t enough. I couldn’t rely on instinct,” says the Hyderabad-based interior designer who is also interested in how people inhabit and interact with a space. 

Every project she takes on begins with a six week ‘discovery phase’, where she spends time in the designated space reading the light and ‘listening’ to what the space is already telling her. From this, a singular feeling is isolated that becomes the fulcrum around which she designs her projects. “This process is our evolution,” she shares, adding, “I never want someone to walk into a room and recognise my style. I want them to recognise themselves.” The approach also defines how the returning RR Circle member views success far removed from parameters of materiality or scale, and rooted, instead, in ensuring that she is able to help clients tell a truer story about how they want to live. When it comes to design, it’s not just aesthetics that she’s drawn to, but the intelligence behind it. Daggubati believes that the next chapter for Indian luxury should move beyond the mere celebration of craftsmanship. The task now, she insists, is to understand the ideas that have shaped these traditions and build upon them to carry the legacy forward.
