Bugatti has introduced the F.K.P. Hommage, a one-off hypercar created to honour Ferdinand Karl Piëch, whose directive to build the Veyron reshaped modern performance car benchmarks. The Hommage is part of Bugatti's Solitaire bespoke programme, which produces highly personalised vehicles in extremely limited numbers. It marks a deliberate nod to the car that established Bugatti's contemporary identity while acknowledging the final chapter of its W-16 era.
Tribute to the Veyron Legacy

The name "F.K.P." references Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the Volkswagen Group leader who backed the Veyron project. This was a quad-turbocharged sports car that combined unprecedented power with everyday usability. The original Veyron defined the modern hypercar category after its launch in the early 2000s, becoming a technical and cultural landmark.
Bugatti's Hommage reinterprets key design cues from the original Veyron, including its signature two-tone bodywork colours of red and black carbon fibre, while integrating modern execution and proportions. The concept brings forward visual elements such as a horseshoe grille machined from aluminium, roof air ducts, and rounded rear lighting that echo the original ethos.
Inside the F.K.P Hommage

While visually referencing the Veyron, the F.K.P. Hommage is structurally based on the Bugatti Chiron architecture. It employs the 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W-16 engine from the Chiron Super Sport, tuned to approximately 1,578 horsepower. This powertrain remains one of the last iterations of Bugatti's W-16 engine before the marque transitions to its next-generation power units.
The exterior lines are faithful to the Veyron's overall silhouette but refined through contemporary aerodynamics and detailing. The front fascia is wider and lower, with full LED lighting and enlarged intakes. The rear diffuser and updated light signatures add modern clarity without departing from the classic form.

Inside, the cabin blends traditional cues with bespoke elements. Brown leather upholstery and custom fabrics reference early 2000s Bugatti interiors, while centre console surfaces and machined aluminium trim are unique to the Hommage. A notable feature is a bespoke Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon integrated into the dashboard, reflecting the collaborative nature of high-end craftsmanship in luxury automotive builds.
The F.K.P. Hommage is the second vehicle created under Bugatti's Solitaire programme, following the bespoke Brouillard model. Bugatti has indicated it will build no more than two such bespoke cars annually, underscoring the exclusivity of this tribute.
This one-off sits at the intersection of heritage and future direction for Bugatti, capturing the moment when internal combustion hypercars reached the peak of mechanical sophistication. For collectors and enthusiasts, it embodies Bugatti's technical legacy while closing a significant chapter in its performance history.
