Did you know, one in three Bentley owners travel with pets? Yep, a massive 33 per cent of Bentley’s global customer base apparently love dogs, and more importantly, love travelling with their dogs. Small surprise then that with that newfound data to back things up, Bentley recently launched a range of handcrafted accessories to help pet lovers travel more easily, more comfortably, and offer better comfort to their fur babies.
The range starts with a bespoke dog guard and moveable luggage divider for the Bentayga. Once fitted in the boot, it is neatly divided into a space for luggage and another for the dog. It’s a wonderful safety device since it prevents luggage from hitting the dog and injuring it. There is also a quilted liner with a section that is tailored to the precise contours of the Bentayga’s bumper. Padded for comfort, this waterproof, removable liner ensures that the Bentley’s bumpers are safe from muddy paws, scratches, and other minor damage. It also ensures that a dog jumping into the boot doesn’t slip on a smooth surface and hurt itself.
In the main cabin, tailored rear seat protectors and extenders, which also include padded door flaps, ensure that the dog can stretch out without ruining the Bentayga’s soft leather seats. While similar rear seat protectors can be found in pet stores and e-commerce portals, Bentley has also designed matching floor mats and boot mats that are all-weather. So no more paw prints on the plush carpet.
Bentley is also offering roof rails for the Bentley and an in-cabin camera that is both forward as well as backward facing. According to the British brand, the roof rails allow freeing up of boot space while the camera records the journey in high resolution.
Shift the luggage to the roof, make sure the seats and floor are safe, and prevent any luggage movement in the vehicle. All the while recording the entire journey with your dog. What’s not to like?
