At the start of the summer this year, Lamborghini amped up the temperatures some more by launching its brand new Temerario supercar in India. With a starting point of INR 6 crore, it’s only a bit pricier than its competitors, the Ferrari 296 GTB and the McLaren Artura. However, it wasn’t until last week that the global media got a chance to sample this latest raging bull from Sant’Agata, Italy. Here are seven things that you need to know about this brand-new Lambo.

The Temerario’s engine is the first turbocharged engine to rev to 10,000!
In the world of the petrolhead, this is an insane combination. While the twin turbochargers help produce all that punch in the gut, 730Nm of peak torque from 4000 to 7000rpm, the peak power of 800hp is available from 9000 to 9750rpm. The engine’s max revs are 10,000, making this the first and the only super sports car in the world to do so at present. It has 13 driving modes
This new Lamborghini is a cutting-edge hybrid with electric motors augmenting its phenomenal 4-litre twin turbo V8. It combines two motors on the front axle, an electric AWD, and a staggering range of algorithms to offer a mind-boggling 13 different drive modes, including three new Drift modes.
The Temerario gets its own telemetry
Using the Lamborghini Telemetry 2.0 app, drivers can relive the experience of driving the car. The app provides lap times, reference times for over 150 race circuits worldwide, and even combines car data with the driver’s heart rate via the Apple watch integration.

400 different body colours and liveries are on offer
Customers can choose from a staggering 400 different body colours and liveries that are on offer through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme, which allows buyers to customise their vehicles.
It's tested by a Champ
The Temerario was tested by three-time MotoGP World champion Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia, who said that he had never felt anything like it. “Reaching 10,000 rpm is incredible. I was astounded not only by that, but also by how easy it is to drive. It makes for a stunning combination,” he said.
The Numbers game
Can’t give this a miss when we’re dealing with a Lambo. So, 0-100 kmph comes and goes in about 2.7 seconds while 200kmph flashes by in 7.1 seconds with the Temerario touching an incredible 343kmph top speed.A bridge between the virtual and the real
Temerario’s interiors are designed to create a balance between physical and digital experiences. While the seats are available in a variety of colours and fabrics, they can be adjusted in 18 different ways to ensure that the driver and the passenger experience only the very best.
