The RMB01 is the result of an incredible partnership between an iconic Swiss watch brand and a legendary British bike brand.

One just needs to cast a half-hearted glance at the motorcycle to know that this isn’t the run of the mill. No. What this is, is the result of a collaboration between two iconic brands whose only subject overlaps are technology and craftsmanship. For the last 24 years, Richard Mille has been creating some of the most incredible ultra luxury timepieces, many of them linking directly back to the world of cars, motorcycles and motorsport. Brough Superior’s legacy of course goes back a little bit more. All the way to 1919 in fact, when in the aftermath of WW I, George Brough started the company to create incredibly built and finished fast motorcycles.

Cut to 2025, the two brands have come together to offer the world the RMB01. The design itself is a nod to the board trackers of the early 20th century. So, when the press material says it’s a track machine, they’re not actually referring to the modern racing circuit. Rather they are talking about the wooden boards on which racers at the dawn of motorcycle racing won or lost their spurs.

Thanks to the blend of a minimalist approach and aero-efficiency, the RMB01 has a unique silhouette, making it instantly recognisable. The simple design is characterised by an elongated petrol tank, a minimalist seat and an exposed 997cc, liquid cooled V-twin engine that develops a decent 130 horsepower.

The RMB01’s production is limited to just 150 units, adding exclusivity to desirability. Customers can choose between three colour options, imaginatively named Nocturnal Saphire, Selene and Pearl of Speed. Although there are reports of the RMB01 being the world’s most expensive production motorcycle, neither Richard Mille nor Brough Superior has announced a price tag just yet. However, a good reference point would be the previous Brough Superior collaboration with Aston Martin. That motorcycle, christened AMB 001, came with a sticker of around USD 1,20,000 (approximately INR 1,03,16,300).
