The Macallan TIME: SPACE Sherry Cask 20 Year Old whisky price in the UK is £1,100 for 700ml, which works out to roughly $1,485 or €1,300. In the US, it carries an MSRP of $1,400 through The Macallan Ballot, which ran from 17 to 24 September 2026 to give collectors first option before general sale.
As far as availability is concerned, UK buyers could get it exclusively at the Macallan Boutique in Harrods from 17 September, ahead of a wider rollout across UK specialist retailers in October and global availability via themacallan.com. India is not part of that initial rollout, and there is no confirmed local release date yet. Given how fast past TIME: SPACE whisky bottles have moved, Indian collectors will likely need to look at international retailers or resellers in the meantime.
At 44.8% ABV, the Macallan TIME: SPACE Sherry Cask 20 Year Old whisky is bottled below cask strength while retaining a substantial profile. It is a 20 year old expression, presented in natural colour and a 700ml format. The circular TIME: SPACE whisky bottle is presented in a case inspired by Palomino grapes and Andalusian light.
Nose: sherry-soaked raisins, figs, medjool dates, dark chocolate truffles, cinder toffee, caramelised nuts, warming spice
Palate: dried fruit, rich ginger cake, treacle toffee, bramble jam, chocolate-coated cherries, clove, cinnamon, cocoa nib
Finish: warming wood spice, a hint of espresso, gentle oak.
TIME: SPACE began in September 2024 as Macallan's bicentenary collection. It opened big, with an 84 Year Old, the oldest whisky the brand had ever put out, followed by TIME: SPACE Mastery, a 5 Year Old built from ex-bourbon, new oak and sherry casks. Sherry Cask is chapter three, and it is the most focused release yet, built entirely around sherry maturation. Every bottle in the collection shares the same circular decanter, and this one's presentation case takes its look from the Palomino vines growing in Valdespino's vineyards and the warm Andalusian light around them.
