Despite New York City’s world-class food scene, there was no space where Indian small plates, craft cocktails, and a design-forward vibe came together seamlessly. INDN fills that void. INDN is a bold concept born from experience, heritage, and a passion for reimagining Indian dining for the modern city. It fuses the rich traditions of Indian cuisine with the vibrant energy of the global city. Designed for sharing, their elevated small plates menu celebrates bold regional flavours, while their cocktails mirror the same artistry — spice-forward, globally inspired, and perfectly balanced.
The brainchild of husband-and-wife duo Simran Bakshi and Kanika Vij, INDN marks the next chapter in their culinary journey after the success of Spice Bazaar in New Jersey. With deep roots in hospitality, the founders have curated every detail from menu and music to lighting and layout.

Warm, bold, and buzzing with flavour, INDN invites you to sip, share, and stay awhile — but what truly sets it apart is its signature cocktail programme. At the heart of the experience lies a menu that reimagines mixology through an Indian lens, blending unexpected ingredients like saag, fenugreek, garam masala, spicy pickle oil, and Indian green chillies into creations that are as inventive as they are unforgettable.
The cocktails don’t just taste extraordinary; they tell a story. Playful, provocative names like Nuthin’ But A Ghee Thang, Pickle Backstabber, Butterface, Pink City Red Flags, and Ready to Chai hint at the daring creativity behind the bar. Each drink delivers a distinct narrative: smoky mezcal kissed with garam masala, ghee-washed whiskey layered with warmth, or spicy pickle oil teasing a crisp gin base.

With the cocktail menu being the focal point, it’s an experience where every sip is designed to surprise, delight, and ignite conversation. The drinks are as bold as the food, as playful as the names, and as unforgettable as the nights they create.
On the other hand, INDN’s food philosophy is simple: “Made to share, but not to fill.” It is where Street-style bites meet clean, minimal presentation. Designed to pair perfectly with the bar, the menu celebrates elevated small plates inspired by India’s diverse culinary regions: from seasonal chaat and ajwani shrimp tikka to buttered pao, Laccha paratha, and sautéed chicken tossed in house spices.
