The reduction in import duty could eventually make eligible Scotch whiskies more affordable, but it does not automatically mean a 50% cut in shelf prices. Delhi began processing price revisions for eligible imported whisky brands in October 2026, but the revised price of each Glenfiddich expression needs to be confirmed individually for each state.
For now, the figures above should be treated as indicative published prices available now rather than confirmed post-FTA rates. If revised prices reach the shelves, the biggest savings may be worth watching on the older expressions, where even a modest reduction could make a noticeable difference to the final bill.
