For years, whisky did most of the talking when the world talked about Indian spirits. That conversation is getting considerably more interesting. Agave is growing on the Deccan Plateau. Cane juice is being turned into aged rum. Heritage wheat is finding its way into vodka. And somewhere in Goa, a new whisky is being aged in its tropical climate and finished using the Solera method. Better still, these are not just interesting experiments, they are winning medals on international judging panels at the The Asian Spirits Masters blind test. Here we reveal 4 award-winning Indian spirits under Rs 10000 in 2026 and the list includes Otherside Continental Whiskey, Maya Pistola Agavepura, Camikara Cask-Aged Rum and Cashmir Vodka.
These 4 Indian spirits under Rs 10000 have managed to win awards even when pitted against the best in the world. Take a closer look at them below and their listed 2026 prices, which start at Rs 2460.
Maya Pistola Agavepura Extra Anejo is priced at ₹9,999 for 700ml in Goa, at 48% ABV
Forget tequila for a moment. Maya Pistola is made from 100% Agave Americana grown on the Deccan Plateau - tequila's geographical designation belongs exclusively to Mexico. Its Extra Anejo is aged for more than 36 months in American white oak and ex-bourbon barrels, bringing dark chocolate, spiced caramel, candied cherries and toffee into the glass. The awards are impressive, too: the Extra Anejo took the Gold medal at the 2026 Global Spirits Masters.
Camikara 8 Year Old Cask Aged Rum is priced at ₹4366 for 750ml in Delhi, with an ABV of 42.8%.
Camikara takes rum rather seriously. Inspired by the traditional cane juice distilling method, the 8-year-old expression is made from pure cane juice, rather than molasses or sugarcane by-products and won the Master medal. At 42.8% ABV, it brings treacle, vanilla and candied orange on the nose, followed by notes of fruit on the palate.
Otherside Subcontinental whiskey is priced at ₹3150 for 750ml in Bengaluru at 40% ABV.
Otherside takes whisky somewhere distinctly tropical. Made by Third Eye Distillery, it is aged across the tropical Indian belt before being finished in charred ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera method. It won the Gold medal. The result is a whiskey with tropical fruit, caramel, vanilla, baking spice and toasted oak. Not exactly the usual whisky conversation, and that is what makes it worth a pour.
Cashmir Vodka is priced at ₹2460 for 750ml in Ghaziabad, at 42.8% ABV.
Vodka is not usually the first spirit that comes to mind when you think about provenance, which is exactly why Cashmir Vodka is interesting. Made from heritage Indian winter wheat and glacial water from Kashmir, it is distilled seven times for a clean, velvety profile. Cashmir won a Silver medal, with judges heaping praise on its finish.
What makes these Indian spirits bottles interesting is not simply the medals. It is the fact that each takes a familiar category and gives it a distinctly different point of view. Agave, rum, vodka and whiskey are all finding new expressions here, and the bar is better for it.
