Few sportspersons Indian cricket have shaped the game and its legacy like Yuvraj Singh. He is, without a doubt, the embodiment of cricketing brilliance, a player whose explosive batting and match-winning feats—from hitting six sixes in a single over to guiding India to World Cup triumphs in 2007 and 2011—are etched in sporting memory. Off the field, his resilience in overcoming cancer and his ongoing philanthropic work through the YouWeCan Foundation add yet another layer to his remarkable journey.

Away from cricket, Singh has turned his passion for food into reality with KOCA (Kitchen Of Celebratory Arts), a chic, expansive venue in Gurugram’s Golf Avenue 42. The restaurant offers global flavours with Pan-Asian twists, inspired by his travels. The restaurant also serves cocktails curated by mixologist Luca Cinalli, and hosts events like Tour Around the World. Standout dishes feature Tandoori Avocado Hummus, and Kadhi Chawal Risotto; for cocktails, Sixer Picante and KOCA Mule capture the playful yet sophisticated spirit of the space. In a nutshell, KOCA blends fine dining with a lively party atmosphere, reflecting Singh's journey, energy, and love for food.
Yuvraj Singh was recently at KOCA for the launch of his new tequila brand, FINO Tequila, marking his foray into the alcohol industry. We caught up with him at the event.
It is in this backdrop that Robb Report India caught with the star for Triple Take with RR, where we have quick, bite-sized conversations with leading voices across industries.

Robb Report India (RRI): A cricket stadium you think is luxurious?
Yuvraj Singh (YS): Lord’s, the home of cricket. I have had some great memories there, and lately I saw a game from the stands, which I thought was beautiful.
RRI: What is your go-to luxury travel destination?
YS: My go-to luxury travel destination would be Queenstown in New Zealand. I think everything there looks like a set. I went there 20 years ago, and I think it was beautiful.
RRI: A luxury trend you feel is overrated?
YS: Luxury [means different things] for different people. I don’t think anything is overrated. Whatever you believe in, stick by it, follow it, work hard, and enjoy it.
