Mithai has always been part of India's gifting culture. What continues to evolve is how it is presented, packaged and experienced. Meethi, a luxury artisanal mithai brand, makes classic, authentic Indian sweets from heirloom recipes, using fine, natural ingredients and no additives or preservatives. Its gifting formats follow the same discipline. Bespoke packaging, with new designs for every festival and occasion, comes as premium assorted boxes, traditional boxes, thaals, candle gifts and smaller packs, alongside hampers and platters. Personalisation is central, because the details matter. Orders are tailored to everyday personal gifting, weddings and corporate occasions, including customised wedding, corporate and baby-announcement hampers.
The flagship sits in Malcha Marg Market, Chanakyapuri, in Lutyens' Delhi, where it has built a loyal following among patrons across the neighbourhood. It is a boutique mithai destination with a counter and a café under the same roof.
The bestsellers are milk cake, paan kaju katli, pista lauj, coconut barfi, pinenut barfi, besan barfi, date & dry fruits barfi, fig mawa barfi and honey dry fruit ladoo, alongside a range of other ladoos and pedas. Each comes in designer assorted boxes of 4, 10, 16, 25 and 36 pieces. Meethi also offers a range of Bengali sweets including Sandesh.
The range follows the calendar. Ghewar arrives for Teej, gujiya for Holi and modak for Ganesh Chaturthi. Desserts include rabri jalebi, rasmalai and rasgulla, with kulfi in a range of flavours through the summer. In winter, the halwa counter takes over, with gajar, badam and moong dal halwa, alongside saffron hot badam milk. Savouries include lotus chips, namak para and mathri, with other namkeens. Meethi also stocks dates: ajwa, medjool and kalmi.
The café at the Malcha Marg flagship serves chole bhature, chana chaat, khasta poori and a range of sandwiches, with chaat served alongside high tea and coffee. Coolers and traditional drinks include chia rose cooler, kokum, iced tea, thandai, lassi, kanji, Jaisalmer chaas, mango lassi, lemonade and cold coffee. During Navratri, the café offers a special thali for those fasting.
This festive season, Meethi brings its signature opulence to Mumbai with a new flagship store in Kala Ghoda, marking its first physical outpost outside Delhi. Set in one of the city's established art and design neighbourhoods, the store brings the brand's mithai, crafted with fine, natural ingredients and heirloom recipes, to a new audience.
Meethi has something for every kind of food lover, from mithai to namkeen, and delivers across India.
