Lamborghini marks 60 years of the Miura with the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a limited run of 99 cars debuting at Monterey Car Week. Created by Ad Personam and Centro Stile, it echoes the original Miura’s nine colours, two contrast liveries, Miura 60 badging and cannelloni-style interior, while its hybrid V12 delivers 1015hp and 350kmph, redefining the supercar for a new era.
Sixty years after Lamborghini shocked the world into silence with the iconic Miura, the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage plans to replicate that impact at the Monterrey Car Week starting on August 7. This special edition, of which only 99 will ever be made, of the already rather special Revuelto will debut at the Lamborghini Lounge Monterrey.
The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage is the creation of Lambo’s Ad Personam customisation programme in collaboration with Lamborghini Centro Stile. The Homage reinterprets some of the styling elements that made the Miura such an icon among automobiles and is offered in exactly the same nine paint shades that the original Miura was available in. So, the 99 lucky owners will be able to choose between Rosso Arancio, Arancio, Giallo, Verde Scandal, Verde Metallic, Blu Tahiti, Blu Notte, Nero Noctis and Bianco Monocerus.
The exterior of the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage is presented with two dedicated liveries, inspired by classic styling characteristics found on historic Miuras: lower body sections finished in a contrasting colour to the main bodywork. There is the Oro Elios livery paired with Altanero Shiny Gold wheels, or the Grigio Nimbus livery combined with Altanero Matt Titanium Diamond wheels. The exterior design is completed by the dedicated Miura 60 logo, positioned above the Revuelto script on the side sill near the rear wheel arch, together with a gloss black Lamborghini rear logo, recalling one of the distinctive styling details of the original Miura. Complementing this color scheme, the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage features gloss black brake calipers and matte black exhaust tailpipes.
The interior recalls several distinctive elements of the Miura cabin. The seats, upholstered with the Classica Trim treatment, reinterpret the characteristic "cannelloni" pattern of the historic model. The leather upholstery extends across the center tunnel, door panels and the rear bulkhead that separates the passenger compartment from the engine bay. Positioned between the two seats is the dedicated "Miura 60" embroidery, providing another exclusive hallmark of the special series.
The old Miura, it is often argued, was the world’s first supercar. At the time its V12 engine offered 380hp, had a top speed of 290kmph and was the fastest production car in the world back in 1966. The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage will leave its muse choking its dust and whatever little exhaust fumes that come out of the hi-tech naturally aspirated V12 working in collab with an electric powertrain to put out 1015hp and 807Nm of torque to offer a top speed of 350kmph. And yet, the new shall be inspired by the old, for the essence of the supercar that was first defined by the Miura, remains timeless.
