London is set to host its own answer to the Met Gala as the British Museum unveils the inaugural Pink Ball on 18 October 2025. Co-chaired by Dr Nicholas Cullinan and Isha Ambani, the gala promises a night where history, haute couture and philanthropy converge.
The Pink Ball takes place on 18 October 2025, strategically timed with Frieze London and the BFI Film Festival, amplifying the city’s cultural high season.
The British Museum’s Great Court and galleries will transform into a glittering stage, offering guests dinner, art and immersive performances in an unparalleled setting.
The 2025 theme is pink, inspired by the colours and light of India and tied to the museum’s acclaimed Ancient India: Living Traditions exhibition, ensuring the Ball reimagines the museum in a spectacular new light.
Spearheaded by Cullinan and Ambani, the gala’s committee includes Naomi Campbell, Idris Elba, Edward Enninful, and Miuccia Prada, uniting global tastemakers across fashion and culture.
Guests will be serenaded by Anoushka Shankar and the Jules Buckley Orchestra, lending the evening an unforgettable fusion of tradition and modern artistry.
With 800 seats at £2,000 (Rs 2.1 lakh approximately) per entry, access is strictly invite-only, ensuring a guest list that blends celebrities, cultural leaders and the world’s most discerning patrons.
Funds raised will support the British Museum’s international partnerships in Ghana, Armenia and Iraq, reinforcing London’s cultural influence on the global stage.
