Hotel Irada is a luxury boutique hotel that sits on a 66-acre winery surrounded by 4,000 acres of untouched reserve forest in the Daund taluka of Pune district. Located 75 minutes from the Pune International Airport, the hotel is the prefect getaway for those looking to escape city life for a few days.

Once the country estate of businessman Vijay Mallya, the property has been reimagined as a 32-key luxury hotel. The interiors have been envisioned by design studio Humming Tree, and the wellness spaces curated by Nyāsa Wellbeing.

Specialty coffee, cacao, and craft-baking brand Subko offers a coffee and cacao programme. The wine programme under the stewardship of Australian estate manager Craig Wedge guides guests and day visitors through vineyards, barrel rooms steeped in oak, and intimate tastings that span rare vintages from Sassicaia to Pinot Blanc.

Public art collaborations with Jaipur Rugs, Kala Kerala, and Le Puces, Paris, infuse the estate with cultural depth, helping showcase local and international art.

Play padel, pickleball, and tennis at the Irada Racquet Club. Other recreational activities include horseback-riding, going on a grassland safari, and even axe-throwing in shaded forest clearings. Aim at clay pigeons on the shooting range, opt for a therapeutic treatment, or dive into the forest plunge pool.

Accommodation choices include Reserve Rooms, Gallery Rooms, Vineyard Suites, or—the fancier still—The Collector’s Suite. Fancy a bite? There’s Rosso that pays homage to south Italian indulgence; Lola, a haven for creative cocktails and a little French electronica; and the Irada Pool Club, a stylish all-day dining venue.

For a more exclusive dining experience, there are private dining rituals including a secluded forest picnic, a vineyard lunch, or a night cap in a place of your choosing. You could also book a helipad and be flown someplace private for a special dinner.

Prices for the Vineyard Suites begin at ₹50,000 per night and ₹75,000 for The Collector’s Suite after discount. Irada opened its doors on September 20, 2025 and has since been offering a tonne of exclusive offers, making this the perfect time to experience their unique hospitality.
