History meets artistry in the latest Eternal Wristwear—a luxurious timepiece that seamlessly blends historical significance with artisanal craftsmanship.
This exquisite watch from Jaipur Watch Company features a genuine one pice coin from 1950–55, the first coin minted in independent India, symbolising a new era of self-reliance and pride.

“The radiant red opal dial, crafted from real opal gemstone, reflects Jaipur’s legacy as the gemstone capital of India. Through this collection, we aim to present Jaipur on the world stage by blending history, artistry and horology into watches that are truly world-class,” says Gaurav Mehta, founder, Jaipur Watch Company, India's premier bespoke watchmaker.
Introduced in April this year, the highlight of the watch is the genuine one pice coin depicting a galloping horse—symbolising the nation’s spirited leap into sovereignty and progress. Encased within the dial, it serves as a poignant reminder of India's rich heritage and enduring legacy.
The timepiece is adorned with a striking red opal stone, a first for the brand. As part of the collection, it also features an aventurine stone dial and a luminous black mother-of-pearl dial. The glowing quality of the mother-of-pearl beautifully complements the vintage charm of the one pice coin, creating a harmonious fusion of history and artistry. The combination exudes elegance and sophistication, reflecting the meticulous attention to detail that Jaipur Watch Company is renowned for.
The sleek, silver-tone case and black leather strap enhance its timeless appeal, making it a versatile accessory for any occasion. The watch features sapphire crystals on both the front and back.
Powered by a Seiko NH35A automatic movement, the Eternal Wristwear is a tribute to the craftsmanship and heritage of Jaipur.
Wearing the Eternal Wristwear is more than a style statement—it is a connection to India's storied past and a celebration of its journey towards freedom and progress. Limited to 150 pieces each in red opal and aventurine, these watches are priced at Rs 60,000 apiece.
