While Zorawar Kalra has been modernising Indian cuisine, his wife Dildeep Kalra has been writing the playbook on what makes a brand stand out in a world of excess. The power couple have taken Indian dining to the global stage with iconic brands such as Farzi Café, Masala Library, Pa Pa Ya, Bo-Tai, and Swan. But even in their multitudes of success, their foundation has remained rooted in emotion. “India is at the cusp of a culinary renaissance. We’ve mastered heritage, but now it is time to tell our story with flair, finesse, and modernity,” they believe.
Much like their own ventures, they seek emotional appeal and human touchpoints in every experience. The Postcard Hotels, for instance, is their go-to place for unwinding with style. “They address every discomfort that traditional hospitality has overlooked—no rigid check-in or check-out times, no breakfast deadlines, and the gift of more space than any standard five-star hotel.” It is for discovering tasteful experiences like this that they turn to Robb Report India, because for them, it is “where luxury is less about labels and more about legacy.
Introducing the first advisory board for Robb Report India, the RR Circle brings together leading voices across luxury to guide, curate, and define the future of experiences in India.
