Meet Varun and Sanya Jain, Members of RR Circle

Sanya and Varun Jain founded Smoke Lab in 2019, marking the country’s first homegrown premium vodka. In a short span, the brand has fuelled India’s burgeoning presence in the global spirits market. But their labour of love has stood for more than just a product, redefining the very meaning of luxury. “It is the art of refinement— not just of a product or experience, but of its vision and execution,” they share. Sanya, a Parsons School of Design (New York) and Central Saint Martins (London) graduate, has been parallelly championing sustainable fashion through her maximalist line, Smoke Lab Wear. By her side, Varun has been instrumental in expanding the brand’s international footprint to the United States, while launching Mohulo Gin and setting sights on new ventures in beer and single malt.

In all this, they’ve found inspiration in the best of the best around the world, and aspired for a strong foundation that stays local while going global. “Take Ferrari, for instance: its precision, passion, and performance are unmatched, but what really sets it apart is how it has preserved its heritage while becoming a global icon,” says Varun. Together, they both are shaping a new chapter of Indian luxury that’s modern, unadulterated, and unapologetically world-class.
