Carrying forward his family legacy of Amrapali Jewels, one of India’s most iconic heritage jewellery labels, Tarang Arora is the man behind its growing international footprint. By his side, wife Akanksha Arora is instrumental in launching Tribe Amrapali, the brand’s contemporary, youthful offshoot. They both come armed with extensive credentials and accolades in fields of jewellery design, diamond grading, media relations, and brand vision. But for them, jewellery has never been about the product that sells; rather, it’s something that is deeply personal. “Whether it is a piece of jewellery or an experience, if it connects with you on an emotional level, that’s the real luxury to cherish,” they explain.
In a country where precise craftsmanship marks the identity of fine jewellery, the next step for the couple is to highlight this sense of meaning behind the art. “Globally, the narrative often misses the depth and artistry behind what we do here. That is why we need to continue investing in storytelling, design, and branding that celebrates who we are,” they say. The couple has discovered many such stories through Robb Report globally for themselves, connecting with brands, places, and experiences that have remained consistently extraordinary over the years. According to them, “The platform bridges global sophistication with local heritage in a truly refined way.
Introducing the first advisory board for Robb Report India, the RR Circle brings together leading voices across luxury to guide, curate, and define the future of experiences in India.
