The Ambani family carries out most of its philanthropic work through the Reliance Foundation, focusing on rural transformation, education, healthcare, disaster response, and sports development. The Villoo Poonawalla Charitable Foundation works primarily in health and education. Over the past eight years, it has made quality healthcare more affordable for low-income families and educated over 49,000 students through its schools.
