Come April next year, the streets of the capital of the old Empire will reverberate to the sounds of exhausts and engines from eras no less historic than the city of Rome itself. Thanks to the inaugural edition of the Anantara Concorsa Roma to be held from April 16 to 19, 2026.
Organised by the Anantara Hotels & Resorts in partnership with UBS and Richard Mille, and Lockton, this ultra-luxury automotive event will be held at the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome. Although the event was due to be held this year itself, it has been postponed as a mark of respect on the passing of His Holiness the Pope earlier this year. Interest, however, remains high, with participants having reconfirmed their participation in April already. Among them a 1902 FIAT Type 12/16HP, a 1938 Lancia Astura 4 Serie Tipo 41 Cabriolet, a 1951 Cistalia 202 SC Gran Sport Cabriolet, a 1956 Alfa Romeo 1900 Zagato and a 1963 Ferrari 275P.
Generous support from the Roma Capitale government agency means that the rescheduled event will boast a larger showfield, extending beyond the original Casina Valadier to now encompass the magnificent circular Piazza Bucarest in the gardens of Villa Borghese. Another highlight of the 2026 programme will be the Grand Palazzo dinner, to be held at the exquisite Palazzo Brancaccio near Santa Maria Maggiore. The noble Roman residence, with its grand architecture, frescoed interiors, and sumptuous furnishings, will host a black-tie evening, providing one of the true high points of the weekend.
A celebration of the spirit of la dolce vita, the event promises to be an exclusive programme showcasing the pinnacle of Italian design, style, and glamour.
