Raw Mango Debuts at LFW
Founded in 2008 by textile designer Sanjay Garg, Raw Mango has shaped contemporary Indian fashion through a textile-led practice. This season at the London Fashion Week, the label made its first on-schedule runway appearance. | Raw Mango
The Setting
At the Royal Horticultural Society’s Lindley Hall, hundreds of spherical glass vessels lined the parquet floor, each holding delicate mogra garlands to frame the runway.

The Concept
Titled It’s Not About The Flower and staged on 23 February 2026, the show examined the garland as a familiar, utilitarian element embedded in Indian visual culture.

Extending Beyond the Runway
A pocket-sized book accompanied the show, documenting garland traditions across India in temples, ceremonies and everyday settings. | Raw Mango
The Craft Continuum
Raw Mango continues to collaborate with over 1,200 karigars across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Varanasi, with every collection beginning at the level of the weave.
