Tucked off Gurugram-Faridabad highway on Rumi Lane, the 2.75-acre House of Kotwara, designed by Muzaffar and Meera Ali, blends architecture, craft, art, and memory into a serene, meditative sanctuary.

A Courtyard of Calm and Connection

The house centres around a courtyard with a water fountain that regulates energy and anchors the space. Light, reflections, and cool air flow through, creating calm, balance, and seamless connection with nature.

Space as Canvas

The house is alive with paintings—ghazals, horses, dreams, and Rumi. Artworks converse with space, from Rumi meeting Shams to the symbolic horse, fusing memory and creativity seamlessly into its walls.

A Home of Many Worlds

The house holds four bedrooms, a formal lounge, dining area, painting studio, and fashion atelier, where garden paths and serene spaces welcome clients into craftsmanship beyond commercial conventions.

A Living, Breathing Home

The Ali home constantly adapts—paintings shift, furniture reconfigures, new objects arrive. Designed for flexibility, it hosts, creates, and reflects, embodying Meera’s belief that architecture shapes mood, energy, and experience.
