RAAYA by Atmosphere sits on a 100-acre private island in the Raa Atoll, a 45-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport. Across its villas, dining venues and activity zones, the spirit of Seb, a shipwrecked artist and adventurer, is woven into the RAAYA experience. His story begins before arrival and unfolds throughout the stay, with details, stories and unexpected encounters surfacing across the island. Watchtowers have been repurposed as private dining and stargazing venues, an art and craft studio houses his work, and the farewell ritual sees guests set handcrafted wooden dhonis afloat along the island’s stream, bringing a final touch of Seb’s spirit to the journey.
RAAYA holds 167 beach and overwater villas, positioned either along the open ocean horizon or nestled within the island's mangroves and tropical greenery. Each is designed with spacious living areas and direct access to either the beach or lagoon, with select configurations offering private pools.

RAAYA runs several distinct dining venues built around different global cuisines. RAAYA Life serves international dishes and live cooking stations, The Village offers Italian-inspired cooking, MIZĀJ specialises in Middle Eastern dishes including shawarma and mixed grills, and Ampers&nd serves contemporary Pan-Asian cuisine, including Maldivian crab kamameshi and Szechuan-spiced lamb rack, in a beachside setting built around a resident DJ. Seb's Shack offers barefoot, beachside dining, while Seb's Farm grows the resort's own produce and runs garden-to-plate culinary experiences built around sustainability.
Beyond the marine programme, RAAYA runs an equally full slate on land: padel tennis, mini golf, wellness sessions, yoga, fitness programming, and guided nature walks, alongside Seb's Artist Zone, which houses creative activities tied to the resort's founding legend, and the Discovery Den Kids' Club, with its own outdoor play area, archery, a zipline, and an explorer shipwreck built specifically for younger guests.
