Piaget Andy Warhol ‘Collage’ is a True Collector’s Timepiece, Limited to 50 Pieces Worldwide

When Piaget’s design team set out to create the Andy Warhol ‘Collage’ Limited Edition watch, the obvious route would have been to feature Warhol’s instantly recognisable motifs, like a soup can, Elvis, or even his Electric Chair. But guided by the Andy Warhol Foundation, they chose a path less travelled. For six months, they immersed themselves in Warhol’s archives, seeking inspiration that went beyond expectations. The result is a celebration of collage and colour, core themes of Warhol’s later work, translated beautifully into gold, stone, and time.

18 Carat Gold Case with Stylised Marquetry Dial

A tribute to Andy Warhol, the 'Collage' features a precious stone marquetry dial with an abstract self-portrait.

Encased within a 45mm × 43mm stepped cushion gold case in 18-carat yellow gold is a stylised marquetry dial, a visual feast of abstract patterns that reflect Warhol’s creative energy. The case’s satin-brushed finish, paired with a recessed crown, lends a quiet elegance, allowing the dial to remain the star of the show. The main hours run on Piaget’s in-house 501P1 automatic calibre, ensuring precision and reliability within an artistic package. On the caseback, a vertical satin finish carries a subtle engraving of a Warhol collage, a hidden detail for those who appreciate the poetry of horology.

Inside, the watch houses Piaget’s in-house 501P1 automatic calibre, ensuring that the artistry on display does not come at the expense of precision. With a 40-hour power reserve and a beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers the reliability expected from a maison renowned for its technical expertise.
