Triple Take: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Peace of Mind, Purpose, and Personal Luxury

In this episode of Triple Take with RR, we catch up with Samantha Ruth Prabhu on the sidelines of RR Experience in Udaipur.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has spent over a decade in the public eye, but what stands out today is not just her filmography. A leading presence across Telugu and Tamil cinema, she has reached a point in her career where success is established, and the questions have shifted inward. In recent years, she has spoken openly about health, healing, and the discipline it takes to stay mentally steady in a high-pressure industry.

Away from the spotlight, she has expanded her professional footprint beyond acting. Her ventures include the sustainable fashion label Saaki World, the production house Tralala Moving Pictures, and continued philanthropic work through the Pratyusha Support Foundation, which focuses on providing medical support to women and children.

At Robb Report India's inaugural #RRExperience in Udaipur, the actress and entrepreneur joined for an intimate fireside chat. We caught up with her for Triple Take with RR.

Robb Report: What do you do to keep your mental health in check, and why is it important to you?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu: There are several things I do, but if I had to pick one, it would be meditation. It’s non-negotiable for me. I have to start my day with some form of meditation, even if it’s just 15 minutes—it sets the tone for everything else.

RR: What, according to you, is the biggest luxury in life?

SP: Peace of mind, without a doubt.

RR: Your ultimate luxury indulgence after a long shoot?

SP: Anything sweet—I definitely have a sweet tooth.

RR: One item in your closet that defines luxury to you?

SP: I do have one weakness, and that’s my Birkin.

RR: The most luxurious experience you’ve ever had?

SP: Visiting Indian heritage structures and palaces. We truly are the epitome of luxury. Honestly, we don’t need to go anywhere outside India to experience it.

RR: What does luxury mean to you?

SP: Luxury has to have meaning attached to it. A thing is just a thing unless it carries significance and purpose.
