When Avarna Jain launched Robb Report India, last year, she was clear that she did not want the concept of luxury to be reduced to a catalogue of expensive things. “Our ambition was never to simply launch another international title, but to give a globally respected authority on luxury a distinctly Indian point of view,” shares the chairperson of RPSG Lifestyle Media. Reflecting over the past year, Jain notes, “The India Issue, the creation of the RR Circle and RR Experiences—from Udaipur to Palace Privé in Gwalior—have been important milestones. More importantly, I think we have begun to establish a distinctive voice around contemporary luxury, including craftsmanship, culture, and design.”
Jain’s focus is on making Robb Report India a cultural authority on luxury international in outlook, unmistakably Indian in perspective, and increasingly experiential. On her intention for the RR Circle, she says that she hopes it becomes an intellectual and experiential community around luxury. “What connects our members is the ability to recognise excellence and appreciate authenticity over spectacle.” One of Fortune India’s 100 ‘Most Powerful Women’ of 2026, Jain says, “Among my biggest lessons has been learning to distinguish between what must change and what must never change.”
Led by Avarna Jain, chairperson, RPSG Lifestyle Media, this advisory panel will bring its macro vision and micro insights to influence the India luxe story across the fields of business, hospitality, wellness, travel, art, fashion, jewellery, food & drink, and philanthropy.
