Berlin just concluded playing host to Europe's biggest tech congregation and the most standout products are significant not just for the EU, but for the rest of the world as well. For those who are uninitiated, IFA 2026 is the world's largest consumer electronics and home appliances trade show. In this years's IFA, the highlights ranged from massive integrations of artificial intelligence into everyday hardware to home appliances, and personal computing. From almost a 1,000 exhibitors, we have chosen the top five trendsetters that demand your attention right now.
It’s almost easy to get lost as an AV product in the vast labyrinth of IFA's white good exhibits but Samsung found an elegant way of standing out. Partnering up with Danish audio brand Canvas, Samsung took its lifestyle focused Frame TV and merged it into one Scandinavian-chic furniture piece. The new HiFi S99H combines Samsung's flagship 2026 S99H OLED television with Canvas HiFi's high-end audio system featuring 6.5-inch woofers, silk-dome tweeters, passive radiators and four Class-D amplifier channels. Canvas’ BACCH 3D processing creates a 3D-audio effect just from its left and right channels. Initially to be available in 55, 65, 77 and 83 inches, the larger Canvas L system will follow later and prices start from EUR 7,999.
If your coffee machine and a tofu factory had a love child, this is what it would look like. The Nuvell Plantein is an automated bean-to-tofu laboratory that fits in the nook normally reserved for your espresso machine on the kitchen counter. It will turn soaked soybeans, almonds or oats into warm fresh tofu in about 40 minutes using a natural coagulant the company describes as an ocean derived salt. It completely automates the tedious process of grinding, heating, filtering, cooling and adding coagulants before pressing out the tofu. Nuvell Plantein also self cleans its plumbing system and the only thing that is not so clear yet is the final availability date, although the brand is taking preorders soon.
Undoubtedly, the most talked about new Dyson product is the CameraJet toothbrush, but the British nerds had more under their carpet. Rebranding their robot vacuum range as Nurovi, shorthand for neural intelligence plus vision, the R3 Spot+Scrub UV sits at the top. It attacks grime using ultraviolet light, green laser illumination, and AI computer vision and identifies around two hundred distinct varieties of spills, hunting down invisible stains your naked eye cannot see and its feedback loop will continue scrubbing the patch until it is spotless. It also gets LiDAR navigation and an extendable roller designed to clean right up against edges. The full-width microfiber roller is hydrated with fresh water heated to 70°C and effectively self cleans itself. Expect it to come to Indian shores in early 2027 and if you’re keen on doing math, the $1299 US price should give you an indication of its local price at launch.

While we all love a birds eye view of ourselves, it’s not always practical to carry multiple pieces of gear on a hike. Enter HoverAir Versa, an action camera that switches between a handheld gimbal and a self flying drone by snapping a set of propellers on or off! The body weighs roughly 163g by itself and around 230g in flying configuration with the airframe attached, with a flight time of around 14 minutes. You can stretch that to roughly three hours in handheld mode if your travel location is North Korea. The 1/1.3-inch 12MP sensor offers 4K/60fps recording and AI-assisted composition. It will take off directly from your palm, track your movements through difficult terrain using computer vision, capture orbiting sweeps, and return straight to your hand without needing a joystick controller.
Most sleep trackers only work well in depressing you over a low sleep score but Amada aims to actively induce sleep through vibroacoustic therapy. Skipping conventional acoustic drivers that buzz in your ears, the Soundwave mattress converts low-frequency soundscapes into rhythmic, physical vibrations that travel directly through its layered construction into your body. The Soundwave Smart Mattress uses what Amada calls patented vibroacoustic technology, running through modes for winding down before sleep, meditation, focus and recovery. It pairs with a Quad Motor Adjustable Bed Base that has four separate motors for the head, foot and lumbar area, with presets for sleep, zero gravity and a gentler wake up. The idea isn't really to replace your hi-fi system with a mattress but to use sound and vibration as a way of creating a relaxing environment.
