The luxury customisation house has unveiled its Cinema Legends Collection, transforming Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra into ultra-exclusive collector's editions inspired by three of cinema's most iconic characters: Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather, Tony Montana from Scarface and The Joker. Forget titanium frames or colourful finishes, these foldables are finished with 24-karat gold, handcrafted hot cloisonné enamel artwork, and price tags that begin at $12,560.
Caviar has never been known for subtlety, and the Cinema Legends collection is no exception. Every design is handcrafted using a traditional jewellery technique known as hot cloisonné enamel, where coloured enamel is carefully applied by hand within fine gold contours before being fired at high temperatures. The result is less smartphone and more wearable artwork.
The Scarface and The Godfather editions are based on the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 and feature portraits of Tony Montana and Don Corleone against intricate gold guilloché patterns. Meanwhile, the Joker edition is reserved for the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, finished in dramatic shades of purple, green and burgundy to reflect the comic-book villain's unmistakable aesthetic. Production is limited to just 19 units of each design worldwide, adding another layer of exclusivity.
Underneath the extravagant exterior, these remain Samsung's latest foldables, but Caviar elevates the experience with bespoke presentation.
